“I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have been working in the mental health field since 2001. Over the years I have received training in many evidence-based practices and have specialized in infant and early childhood mental health. I am passionate about working with young children who have experienced adverse experiences as I believe that early intervention can prevent serious mental health issues later in life and creates a healthy foundation for children and their families. I also believe anyone can benefit from therapy, so I appreciate and respect working collaboratively, alongside people who are experiencing stress including trauma, life changes, anxiety, depression, and relational problems, so although early childhood is my passion, I enjoy working with people of all ages, helping people to find their inner strengths from an attachment, developmental, and systemic perspective.
I’m originally from North Dakota and attended the University of Minnesota-Duluth for my undergraduate degree when I fell in love with this city, nature all around us, and the beautiful lake. I enjoy spending time with my family and watching my little ones grow, cooking, and listening to music.”
